OUR PHILOSOPHY

Excellent service extends beyond pleasing our current clients and guests. We develop and maintain a positive relationship with all who come in contact with our food service operation. We encourage our team members to show exceptional guest service when dealing with students, school personnel, parents, and vendors.

WHAT WE DO

School food service is our focus and passion. We design and implement successful K-12 food service programs and currently serve 96 school districts in South and Central New Jersey.

Our menus are designed to focus on nutrition, regulation compliance, cost, and student preference. Our Food Service Directors tailor each menu to meet the needs of their individual districts. Nutrition education is integrated into all menus and is supported with healthy marketing on the serving line.

WHY CHOOSE NUTRI-SERVE?

We dare to be different in all the best ways. It’s a bold statement, but we’re a bold company.

We know food, and we know kids.

Nutri-Serve prides itself on being focused on K-12 school food service. Many management companies delve into all food service sectors, becoming “jacks of all trades” versus experts. From the food to the atmosphere and nutrition education, we are the K-12 experts.

We can be there faster – with reinforcements.

Nutri-Serve calls the Garden State home with our corporate office in Burlington, NJ. In most cases, our operations managers live no more than 30 minutes from each of their accounts. Nutri-Serve is more responsive.

Creativity is included in our management fee.

You will not meet a more creative company than Nutri-Serve. Our leadership team and Food Service Directors meet regularly to share ideas to improve our programs. We stay informed and relevant within the industry on the continuing changes to the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs.

We make things happen.

Nutri-Serve prides itself on the longevity of our client relationships. We attribute long-standing relationships to producing results, excellent service, and the value we place on our reputation. Change is hard, but finding the right company makes it easier.

Absecon Learning Community,

A shout out to Kim Parker and the entire Absecon Nutri-Serve staff.  As we were finishing the last leg of our QSAC marathon today, with an inspection of the building and grounds, I was asked by the County Business Administrator, "Who is your food distributor, and how do you like them?"  Without hesitation, Allyson and I both responded, "We love them." In my 20 years in education, they are the best group I have ever worked with. The things they can do, such as preparing this morning's faculty breakfast while distributing breakfasts and lunches to a district of well over 900 children, are simply amazing.  Their willingness to go the extra mile and assist in any way they can shows great pride in what they do and a devotion to our learning community.  Kim, Danielle, Anne, Candy, and John thank you for your effort this morning, and thank you for all that you do each and every day!  We are lucky to have each of you and the entire Nutri-Serve team.

Best Regards,

-Dr. Daniel J. Dooley

LOCAL PURCHASING

Ever pick up an apple in the supermarket and wonder where it’s from?

Nutri-Serve schools work with the local produce companies Ambrogi and Papa G’s to bring the freshest produce from the farm to the lunch tray. In the spring, Nutri-Serve Food Service Directors visited a local farm to see firsthand the process involved in getting the freshest produce to their cafeterias!
